About Jazmine

Hi, I'm Jazmine.

I'm a senior instructional designer by trade and a ceramic artist by heart, working out of a home studio in Rivertown, Kenner, Louisiana. Most days you'll find me building learning experiences at my desk — and most nights you'll find me at the wheel or the worktable, coiling petals and mixing glazes until something beautiful comes out of the kiln.

I got into clay looking for something to do with my hands that had nothing to do with a screen. It turned into wall-sized magnolias, splatter-glazed blooms, a few sculptures that make people laugh (yes, that's a life-sized ceramic burger and fries), and a whole lot of joy. Every piece is handbuilt, one petal, coil, or slab at a time — nothing is molded or mass-produced.

When I'm not in the studio, I'm cheering on and spoiling my 9-year-old son in a big, loud, happy house, probably drinking too much coffee, and — let's be honest — usually knee-deep in some new app or AI tool I just had to try. I'm a certified tech nerd at heart; if there's something new to build or figure out, I'm in there tinkering before my coffee's even done brewing.
